Windows Internet Explorer 8 (disingkat IE8) adalah browser web yang dikembangkan oleh Microsoft dalam seri browser Internet Explorer. Browser dirilis pada tanggal 19 Maret 2009 untuk Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, dan Windows 7. Tersedia dalam versi 32-bit dan 64-bit. IE8 merupakan penerus Internet Explorer 7 yang dirilis pada tahun 2006, dan merupakan default browser untuk sistem operasi Windows 7 dan Windows Server 2008 R2 .
Pada Januari 2011, perkiraan pangsa pasar global IE8 berkisar 26-33%. Internet Explorer 8 adalah versi pertama dari IE untuk lulus tes Acid2, dan yang terakhir dari browser utama untuk melakukannya, meskipun hanya skor 20/100 pada Tes Acid3.
